Your role at GamingCenter

Customer Experience & Support turns questions into clear resolutions and product insight. This paid working-student role develops reliable written support, responsible escalation and the judgement to distinguish isolated cases from recurring journey friction.

A one-month unpaid learning placement is considered only where it is lawful in the candidate's physical work country and supported by formal school, university or public-authority documentation reviewed and approved before the start. A declaration in the application is not approval. Candidates who are not eligible do not perform unpaid productive work; they may remain in recruitment or, with consent, in the talent pool until an appropriate paid opening is available.

An approved placement has written learning objectives, mentorship, approximately 20 hours per week, weekly feedback and a transparent 10-point scorecard. A final score of at least 8/10 permits consideration for a separate paid working-student or junior offer. Progression is not automatic and depends on legal eligibility, continuing enrolment where required, budget and available headcount.

This is a paid part-time position with defined responsibilities, written objectives and regular feedback. Before the start, we confirm enrolment, the physical work country, work eligibility, compensation and the responsible contracting party in a signed agreement. Recruitment tasks are time-boxed and non-production; no unpaid productive work is part of the selection process.

How you will contribute

  • Handle assigned customer enquiries using approved guidance and service standards
  • Maintain FAQs, help content and accurate issue categories
  • Track follow-ups and escalate payment, privacy or safety-sensitive matters
  • Summarise recurring customer friction and propose practical improvements
  • Support quality reviews of customer communication

What will help you succeed

  • Current enrolment and eligibility for German working-student employment
  • Empathetic, precise professional English; German is an advantage
  • Excellent organisation, follow-through and sound escalation judgement
  • Availability for up to 20 hours per week during the lecture period

Helpful experience

  • Evidence of a relevant university, volunteer or personal project
  • Familiarity with the tools and workflows commonly used in this discipline

What you will learn and gain

  • Paid part-time experience in Customer Experience within an early-stage gaming marketplace
  • Structured onboarding, weekly feedback and documented development goals
  • Ownership of defined work with review before production or external use
  • Cross-functional collaboration and portfolio-ready evidence where confidentiality permits

What happens next

  • Application and initial review
  • A short, clearly scoped recruitment task that does not involve production work
  • Online conversation and task review
  • Work-country, enrolment and work-eligibility checks
  • Written offer confirming pay, hours, working model and start date

Time commitment in the selection process

  • Initial conversation: usually about 30 minutes
  • Role interview: usually about 45 minutes
  • Recruitment task: approximately 150 minutes

Assessments are clearly scoped and never ask for productive work for GamingCenter.

Success in the first 30 days

  • Complete service, privacy and escalation onboarding
