Information we process
When a page is requested, technical information may be processed: IP address, time, requested URL, referrer, browser and device information, response status, security logs and error records. If you contact us, we process your contact details and message.
For job alerts, we process your email address, language, optional role filters, confirmation and delivery timestamps, and unsubscribe status. Delivery starts only after confirmation.
The public portal does not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal data.
Purposes and legal bases
Technical data is used to deliver pages, prevent abuse, diagnose faults and maintain security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional recruitment portal under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Messages are processed to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, take steps at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Processing required by law relies on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Recipients and providers
We use Vercel for hosting and private file storage, Railway for database and malware-scanning infrastructure, and Resend for transactional email. These processors receive only the information needed for their function. CVs are not attached to notification emails.
Where personal data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we use the transfer mechanisms required by the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. You may request information about relevant safeguards by email.
Retention
Technical logs are retained only as long as needed for operation, security, troubleshooting or legal claims. Contact messages are kept while an enquiry is handled and for a limited period afterwards for continuity and record-keeping.
Job-alert data is processed until you unsubscribe; unconfirmed or unsubscribed records are periodically deleted or anonymised. You may unsubscribe at any time through the personal management link.
Specific periods may be extended where a legal duty, security incident or legal claim requires it.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may withdraw consent prospectively at any time. Send requests to business@gamingcenterwork.com; we may request proportionate identity verification to prevent unauthorised disclosure.
You may also complain to a data-protection authority, including the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg or the authority where you live or work.
Changes
We update this policy when our processing, providers or applicable requirements materially change. The current text and revision date are published on this page.
