Your role at GamingCenter
GamingCenter is preparing the operating foundation for an international gaming marketplace. Reliable finance operations help the team understand costs, verify evidence and make responsible decisions before activity scales.
In this supervised internship, you will work with approved templates and limited datasets to support reconciliations, cost tracking and management reporting. The learning plan focuses on accuracy, evidence and clear escalation rather than transaction volume.
You will not approve payments, access unrestricted bank credentials, make accounting or tax decisions, provide financial advice or sign commitments for GamingCenter. Every output is reviewed by the responsible lead before use.
How you will contribute
- Maintain approved budget, cost and expense trackers with clear source references
- Reconcile a defined dataset and document differences without changing source records
- Check invoice or cost evidence for completeness and escalate unresolved issues
- Prepare draft weekly and monthly operating summaries for review
- Improve finance checklists, naming conventions and evidence registers
- Document assumptions, owners, review dates and next actions
- Handle confidential business information within role-based access limits
What will help you succeed
- Current enrolment or recent study in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or a related field
- Physical residence and legal eligibility to perform the internship from Germany
- Strong spreadsheet accuracy and confidence checking numbers against source evidence
- Responsible handling of confidential information and approval controls
- Clear written English and reliable remote communication
- Ability to identify uncertainty and ask before acting
Helpful experience
- University project involving budgeting, reconciliation or business analysis
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping or management reporting
- Experience documenting a repeatable process

Time commitment in the selection process

Internship terms
Contract and duration: 3-month qualifying voluntary study-related or orientation internship, or 6-month mandatory school/university internship; the final route must be lawful and documented for work performed in Germany
Compensation: Unpaid only where a documented mandatory-internship or other applicable legal exemption permits it; otherwise at least the legally applicable minimum compensation is paid
Academic documentation: Before signature, we document the country where work will be performed, the university or orientation basis, required duration and applicable compensation rules. A six-month unpaid route is available only for a documented mandatory internship. For work performed in Germany, any voluntary unpaid route must independently satisfy MiLoG §22; otherwise at least the statutory minimum wage is paid. Mandatory local rules apply outside Germany.
Equipment and expenses: The role is remote from Germany. A suitable computer, reliable internet and a private setting are required. No software purchase, travel or personal financial account is required without prior written agreement. Access is least-privilege.

Employer and contract clarity
GamingCenter.gg is an early-stage project in formation. Before any activity begins, a written agreement identifies the legally responsible contracting party, compensation, hours, duration and physical work country. No activity begins without a fully signed agreement.
